You are the steward of your girl's money.  Learn how to use it, protect it, and keep yourself and co-leader and treasurer safe.

Tips:  Keep in touch with your fellow leaders, and service unit.  We are all in this together, and more experienced volunteers are more than willing to offer advice.

Best Practice:  Keep your financial records up to date! Start a system to save receipts and stick to it.

Financial Assistance

Girl Scouts is open to all girls and adults, regardless of their income. The council makes funds available to support girl members, by providing supplemental resources beyond a family’s ability to pay. 

Minnesota Tax Exemption Form

Girl Scouts is non-profit, and purchases specifically for Girl Scouts are tax exempt.  Print these form, and use it for troop purchases.
