COOKIE RESOURCES

Below are links to resources for Cookie season.

Tips:  Keep in touch with your fellow leaders, cookie managers, and service unit.  We are all in this together, and more experienced volunteers are more than willing to offer advice.

Cookie swaps: Before you get more cookies from a cupboard - ask on the SU page to see if other local troops have too many cookies.  Troops with too many cookies - ask on the SU FB page if other troops need cookies.  Otherwise, unopened cases can be exchanged for a new variety at the cupboard.

Key Dates for 2020:

  • February 7-13: Initial order delivery dates

  • February 15-March 29: Cookie Cupboards open

  • February 15:  Cookie Go Day

  • February 17:  Cookie Booth Go Day

ABC Smart Cookies

This is where all cookie orders, transfers, online sales, booths, are tracked and tallied.  Keep it up to date!  Keep all receipts, and document, document, document.  Important: Make sure your roster is current in this system so you can properly allocate cookies to your girls.

Cookie Donation Programs

The best way to deal with excess inventory are donation programs.  With Cookies for the Community, these cookies are from your on hand inventory.  Best Practice:  Set aside your donation money for the end of the season, and use it to purchase your excess inventory for a local cause.

Cookie Cupboards

No troops have the cookies you need?  You need to exchange unopened cases?  Go to a local cupboard.  Some require advance planning and ordering!

Rewards

If your girls need a reminder of the rewards... they are here.  Remember to select them in Smart Cookies!
